Sir,My IR1600 dosnt fuction or now dosenot start to work

My ir 1600 dose not work. when i pluge in and press the button it remain silent while on the button board lights shows that light is on.
ir1600 before some time ago leaves black spots on the papers which to be copied. Now itsilent.

Canon IR 1600 error message
Note: To reset E000, E001, E002, E003, go to service mode 4. select SET, go to "#7 PRINT-ER," in service mode. Then press Execute "#4 PRINTER RESET." Power the unit off/on.
