hi i hope i can help you? remove the cover from the machine and load paper as normal. and watch if the mechanics is sticking or anything that you can see give a clean with wd40clean all rollers check that you are puting in the correct amount off paper.check for loose connections.check for dirt on the switches.
I also have the ML-2010R and I also had the paper feed problem. with warnings about paper jam around toner cartridge.
After a bit of reading and people mentioning the big roller that picks up the sheet of paper and that it needs replacement; I decided to carefully try to clean that rubber roller.
I used a brush and medical alcohol to clean the roller. After letting the roller dry I put in some paper and tried to print again and for me it works like a charm!
this is sound like paper size proplem.it can be adjusted .but before you adjustment.check your paper tray guides.and look behide the tray for any paper .
power machine off and open the trays that indicate exclamation mark and than power the machine on
if that works than your tray are the problem.
hope that help
I tried what phrek said ("
Pressing the flashing buttons simultaneously, evokes the printer to spit out an internal diagnostic page ..."), but after the diagnostic page printed out the printer worked fine again.
Thanks for the help, and hopefully things work out for the rest of you as well.
You need to be able to clear the counters in the printer that tell the printer to stop working.
In order to do that you must
1. Turn printer off
2. you must hold down the "Paper Source, Paper Feed, Select Feed, Cut/Eject" buttons all at the sime time while you turn the printer back on.
3. From there navigate through the menues to clear the counter that pertains to you or all.
(Error 00000101 is pertains to the print head motor)
Word of warning -
Those counters can be a pain as they cause the printer to stop working however you do need to get your printer serviced by a tech as soon as you can because the error is a warning, reset the counters lets you finsih a job, but if it goes unserviced too long it will actually break down all togther.
So even after you rest the counters you absolutly must get your printer serviced soon.
