Music only plays through a 2.0 source so it'll always only play through the front speakers

SOURCE: center speaker and wireless rear speakers have no sound

I had the same issue, but apparently...it's not an issue. What I discovered is that the system was fine, but the station I was watching didn't broadcast in 5.1 surround sound. Therefore, only the front speakers will have sound. Try putting a dvd in, or listening to a gameing system through it. If you don't have sound after listening to something that puts out full surround sound, then you know you have an issue.

LG HT503 Home Cinema System - only the sub and front 2 speakers work, Centre and rear 2 speakers do not after reconnecting.

The move may have resulted in surround mode being deselected. The speaker sound check will not detect this.

BH7520TW cordless rear speakers not working

if you having this problem when playing music, this is perfectly normal 'cos music only gets played through 2 speakers (2.0 audio format)..if this happens when playing a movie, you have to check if the movie (through the disc menu) is in 5.1 audio format which is surround sound through all the speakers..

Playing ipod on samsung MME460D

I've just been struck down with this too on my newly purchased MM-E460D. I think I've worked it out, its just a poor description and manual. iPod mode" means choose the music off the iPod via a connected TV whereas "Remote iPod" is choose the music off the iPod via the Samsung remote and also directly from the iPod interface. I've been there for days trying to get "iPod mode" to work via the iPod interface.

My LG LHB975 Theather system subwoofer keeps going on n off when playing music flashing blue slowly

marvinpogno,

Sounds like you having an interference issue. Firstestablish a good connection, then diagnose why the signal is getting lost. You write that the problem occurs whenplaying music, which makes it sounds like everything is fine when playinganything but music.

First establish the connections; press and hold the stop button then press themute button on the remote. Check to make sure all units are operatingwith something other than music. Now to diagnose the issue; what you are using to play themusic most likely is causing an interference that is breaking the wirelesslink. Try something else to produce themusic from, ipod, mp3 player, etc. Don't forget about other things that could cause interference. Microwave ovens, wireless phones, wirelesscomputer router, etc. Hope this helps. Please rate the answer if I was able to help, thanks. -Chris

Overload Problem

If your rec'vr worked with the original front and rear speakers, the new speakers are either defective or ar the wrong impedance.
Also, I find this confusing: "I connected the wiring for 1 of the front speakers to the connection on the rear of the receiver". This may indicate wrong wiring connection. Make sure you have connected the speakers properly
