I had the same issue twice (2 diffrent devices) on LG Blue-ray HX-906 - stuck on "please wait" after switching it on. It turned out to be defective mainboard - main BGA chip (the one with black radiator) has some problem with connection to mainboard. Here is how to repair it:- dismount the mainboard- take off the radiator from the main chip- put alluminium foil around the chip to avoid unnecessary heating up of other parts of PCB- heat up the chip using air hotgun to about 200 celsius for about 5 minutes. Mount everything in reverse order and enjoy

Nope, but maybe your tv has audio out? Either analog, optical or headphones out. If your surround sound system has hdmi In you may try to put fire stick in sound system and connect that system to tv.

The move may have resulted in surround mode being deselected. The speaker sound check will not detect this.

To changethe Region code on your DVD player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware -Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVDdrive and click Properties then click on DVD Region.
You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have been made.
NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the4th change.
If you want to play DVD from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmwareto make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrongfirmware the player will be a piece of junk.
The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece ofsoftware that allows you to play DVDs from any region. There are severalavailable on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From:-

There are several reasons that this could happen and given the cost of a new one VS the experience you need and the tools and test gear, it would be best to get another one. Could be a sticky power of function key, bad laser, bad motor, bad power unit, bad detector

You need to do some troubleshooting first. Turn the TV on make sure the room is dark take a good flashlight and shine it at the screen and flip through the HDMI inputs. if you don't see an image then it's most likely your main board you can have that fixed or repaired at pts electronics. If you do see an image then the backlights aren't working and you need to check the outputs to the backlights at the main board. The TV is worth fixing

be sure bluetooth is on. also turn both headphones off. once headphones are off, start scanning for bluetooth devices. once scanning, hold the power button down on both earbuds for ten seconds or until theyre both flashing red and blue. your device should then notify you about pairing.

Did you check all connections? All audio settings? If yes and it didn't help I think better will be call to specialist in this field. I recently bought new home cinema Ugee 1910B and it works perfect. Quality of video and sound is great.
