Canon imageRUNNER C3200 Copier Logo
Posted on Oct 21, 2008

My Canon IR c3200 started to print olors out of focus... I read 3 manuals through, transfer belt is clean, auto calibration process gives nothing, horizontal lines printed fine but colors misplaced in vertical... Copying and using C1 unit + PC (Quark etc.) produces the same result. SOmeone told that there is kind a general RESET for printer and after cleaning of transfer belt I should reset machine and then recalibrate. But HOW TO RESET? How to get sharp image that was available on this machine this morning... t has 42K and very clean, drums\toners OK, no error codes. Anyone genius, please HELP, I need this machine hard! Any suggestions, solutions, ideas will be appreciated. I already run out of them (((

You have miss regrestion there are several ways to correct this process 1-go into service mode -function-clear-dc con -ok then take machine off unlug from wall outlet replug turn machine on 2-replace your itb assy. 3-there is another way but you have to be next to the machine and fimilar with second level service mode.

Toshiba 3511 color print problems

Hi,

Hope it's not the calibration. This could happen due to transfer belt timing problem. There are sensors and reflectors inside the transfer belt assembly. They may be dirty. Clean them or replace the transfer belt if required.

Printer prints with red smudges

Sounds like its a magenta drum going bad. It could also be the transfer cleaning blade assembly, or the transfer belt needing replacement. Do you know if any of these items have been replaced. Drums usually last around 40,000 prints. Transfer belts 300,000 and the blade 100,000. Hope this helps.

Error e -070 in canon ir -3100 color copier

Its an error with the senor for the transferring belt. Try going into the additional functions-adjustments/ cleaning-gradation adjust- full adjustment. And follow the prompts on the screen. If this doesn't work and you feel comfortable trying you can clean the sensor. Remove the front covers, waste bottle and the drum. The sensor is located inside the chassy where the drum was at, in the middle (front to rear) on the left Do not use a vacuum on the sensor it can be damaged easily. After cleaning and reassmbling retry the gradation adjustment.

Canon IR C3200 Out of registration. When i print out a test print the colors are all out of sink and not lining up on top of one another. was running fine and then it started having this problem

the cause of the problem is ,the transfer belt is not rotating properly ITB rollers must cleaned throroughly (cleaned by isopropyl alcohol) to prevent slippage of transfer belt that causes mis alignment /misregistration of color, but copying BW is ok,In other words ITB unit needs servicing

Removing transfer belt

The Intermediate Transfer Belt (ITB) slides out from the right hand side. Open the manual feeder, pull out the right side transport, remove one screw and remove the cover behind the manual feed door, lift the sensor bracket above the transfer belt, lower the handle inside the front cover and pull the ITB straight out the right hand side.

ImageRunner c3200 Color Registraton

With my experience, it's not the registration nor calibration problem, it's either transfer belt is bad or inside the transfer belt is dirty or dusty as well as transfer rollers. here is what I do first
take the transfer belt unit out of the machine, take transfer belt out from the unit, clean inside of transfer belt with damp cloth and rubbing alch. clean all rollers and reinstall.
What it is if the transfer belt and transfer rollers are dirty and dusty, it slips and make it like it's not align. I think most of time it fix the problem with my exp. if not replace new transfer belt
