If you have it connected by a CAT5 network wire, then the answer is no.
if you are using a usb 1.1 port on your computer to print to it, then that port is a slow port. I would recommend getting a faster 2.0 usb adaptor and using that port. It will print a little faster.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
From the menu, select "List/Test Print" and then select "Config page" and ok. the page it prints out will give you the details of the machine including the total pages printed.
during the installation you have to select this option, by default the duplex option is not selected. Uninstall the software, restart your pc and install the software again, and select the duplexing option. I hope this helps
