Hi there, When it says that the destination list cannot be used right now, it means that the HDD (hard drive) where your scanning/faxing addresses is stored is corrupt, this normally happens when there is a power failure/switch off while the printer is accessing the hard drive. Press the yellow button, then 1 0 7, then hold the stop key(red/orange button) for more than 5 seconds until the screen changes, select the first option which should be "copy" or "system", then press 5 8 3 2 #, then select "execute", this will format the HDD/hard drive, then switch off and on, input your addresses again and all will be fine.
If you are using an LDAP server to provide the destination, you may not have the Search Conditions programmed correctly.

yes you have to install the drivers and give the usb option for communication
SOURCE: Printer shows offline/Scanner has no destination list
You must program the email addresses in the machine address book, so that you will have a destination list to scan to email.
You can also try to scan by pressing the Scanner button to access the scanner function and input the email address manually by selecting manual, and then press the Start button to scan the document.
