You might want to check the torque converter....if it does it at a stand still position the only things turning are the torque converter and the harmonic balancer...My mustang is doing the same thing and i'm almost positive that its the harmonic balancer...but were gonna get under the car take off the torque converter shield and see if something wrong with the fly wheel before we spend any money... that's the good thing about having a father thats a mechanic that's worked on any type of car you name it lol...so yea check the Torque converter if you have already checked the harmonic balancer..Hope this helps!

2001 3.8 Mustangs have problems with ignition coils cracking and causing a missfire. this the most common thing i have seen i have seen a few fuel pumps cause similar issues but not as common.

Pulley on crankshaft is rattling bad is there a bearing

Billy you have the main bearings on the crankshaft, but you said a rattling noise, these pulleys are bolted to the harmonic balancer check the bolts that attach the pulley to the balancer to see if they are tight. Sometimes they can work their way loose. If it were a main bearing the engine would have a slight shake to it or in other words while the vehicle is idling the motor would shake along with a loss of oil pressure on your gauge in the vehicle. By the rattling it can be two things that come to mind either the harmonic balancer is coming apart or the pulley is coming loose from the balance. Hope this helps let me know what you find.

Hi my nissan terranos steering shakes at 60 mph at 70 mph it doesnt at 50 mph it doesnt shake,

Get the front wheels re-balanced, a balance weight may have fallen off or been knocked off, or perhaps just due to tyre wear.
Due to harmonic frequencies, it is possible to get the vibration only at certain speeds.

MY 93 ACCORD SHAKES VERY BAD WHILE DRIVEN IT STARTED AFTER CHANGEN MY HARMONIC BALANCER. IT RUNS FINE WHILE IT SITS BUT SHAKES AT SPEEDS FROM 45 AND UP.

If it does not do it when sitting, then it is a wheel bearing, axle CV joint, transmission, or wheel.
Don't see how a harmonic damper could be related to that.
Only other thing I can think of is that to get at the damper on a transfers engine, you must have taken a motor mount off. It much not be back on right yet.

I just bought a 2000 Dodge Durango. When it's idleing the whole motor and car shakes. Even, when I push the gas for acceleration or for a constant speed... Also, it sounds like a waowaowaowaowao... It...

It sounds like it has a misfire. You should get the computer scanned to see if any codes are stored. Even if the light isn't on, it could have pending codes that could help you trace the problem to a specific cylinder. I'm not certain how the injectors or plugs are layed out on this engine, but a cylinder drop test could also help you determine what cylinder is the issue. You bascially just let the engine idle and pull an injector plug off (or unplug a spark plug) and see how it effects the engine idle. If the idle drops a lot or dies, that cylinder was working. If you get to one that doesn't change the engine idle much or at all, that is you problem cylinder.

Severe vibration and knocking sound!

sounds more like a ujoint or a center support for the drive shaft. also check and make sure that the flywheel bolts have not come loose. also check the harmonic balancer and make sure it is not seperating

Harmonic balancer

If the car doesn't shake when you are idling, then I its probably something else. Look at all your pullies and check and see if one of them may just need to be tighten.
