If you are receiving SPOOL.SVC or PRINT SPOOLER ERRORS when trying to uninstall/reinstall your printer, or when trying to print a document or access the printer properties, please follow the steps below.
The following are examples of some of the messages you may be receiving:
Spool.svc is not running. Make the service active and try again. Printer Properties cannot be displayed. The print spooler service is not running. Printer cannot be removed. The print spooler service is not running. Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup. (When clicking Add Printer) Operation could not be completed.

Step 1 : * Start > run > services.msc > ok * Select the service name called print spooler from the list. * Check the status on the print spooler service, if it is stopped, then right click and select start or restart. * Then the spooler service will start working....

1. Go to Start > Run and type in services.msc then press Enter.
2. In the window that opens find "Print Spooler" on the right
3. Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".
4. Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".
5. Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.
6. Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.
7. Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.

This is JISHKUMAR, U need to click on dependencies tab.this u will get it when u double click on print spooler.just look which are the services under dependencies..whatever services you will find just go to that services and start them and then start print spooler service. this will 101% solve your problem
