Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Setting up playlists for eclipse 180g2

There are already 5 playlists to choose from, so you just need to add songs to it. If you already have the songs you want on your media player, select one song you want to add to the playlist. Press the OK button to go to the music playing interface. Then hold the OK button for three seconds. This will takes you to the music submenu. Scroll down to "Add to MyList." Choose the playlist to add the song to. Repeat for each song.

Samsung YP-U3 mp3 - Can't get my songs to play in certain order

I've never seen a MP3 player that you can select the order in which multiple songs are played, unless you do it manually or only have the song you want to play on it.
I think your efforts will be in vane.  Sorry

Can't create playlists on my zen x fi

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.

I hope that helps.

Enjoy!

Shuffle seems to play same songs

The shuffle feature shuffles songs randomly - no way to change the order.

On the Sansa Clip, you have to make the changes to the song order in Windows Media Player first, before you transfer the playlist to the Sansa, using the advanced tag editor function; change the track number. If you have already transferred the song(s) over to the Sansa, you must delete the songs on the Sansa first, or else it will not accept the playlist transfer with the new track order. You can always go back and change the track numbers that are stored in your WMP library after you have transferred the playlist to the Sansa.

How do you add a playlist to the player!!!

There is another way but that is called Favorites. First go to settings on the player and enable advance then go to one of your songs and press the select button then it will give you an option that says add to favorites? choose the check mark to add that songs to your playlist. Also there is a way to add playlist using windows media player. The steps given would be for windows media player 10. First click on the Library Tab thecn click on the arrow for the Now Playing List choose New List then Playlist, now add songs to your newly created playlist by dragging them to the drag items here window after you have choosen all the songs you like click on Now Playing List and choose Save Playlist As.. After saving the playlist change the settings of the player to Autodetect and connect the player to the computer. Now wait for it to be detected by the computer and click on SYNC tab on the windows media player software. There are two windows the left is where you will choose the playlist the right your mp3 player. Choose the playlist that you have created and click on START SYNC now it will be transferring the playlist to your mp3 player just go to Music then Playlist. Hope this helps :D

How to create multiple playslists for M250

Alright, well if you are adding songs to your MP3 player by using Windows Media Player, you can create playlists there, sort the songs into what playlists you want them in, right click the playlist, and click "add to sync list".

If you are manually copying and pasting the music into the mp3 player (that's how I do it) it's a little less obvious... For me there are three main folders: Music, Playlists, and RECORD. So we want to go to the playlists folder. In there, assuming you have at least one playlist already, you can copy and paste it, naming it something else and changing its properties as you see fit (right click -> properties). To add songs to the playlist, you go to it's properties, and under the references tab, drag the music files from wherever you have them stored and drop them in the references tab. This won't move your music, it'll just add them to the playlist. and.... guess that's about it. Hopefully that helped.
