You may download the Canon drivers and software from imageCLASS MF6550

First, check that the audio is not muted, either via any hardware switch/button, or via software.

If not, I'd download and reinstall the sound card drivers for your notebook here:

you will need to select your model, or put in your service tag (on the bottom of your notebook) and then look for the driver under audio in the list.
from memory the first audio file should be the one you are after.
click on download, on the right hand side.

once downloaded, run and install software, then restart the computer.

Usually, Dell directs their driver installs to put their files in the file path C:\DELL\drivers. When installing the driver for the device, select "Browse my computer for driver software" and go to the C:\DELL\drivers\ path then the file name of the driver you downloaded from Dell. This will manually point Windows to the correct driver.

Enter your dell service tag (found on a sticker, on your physical computer) and download the corresponding drivers/software you need.
