Bios password differ for every model, try with the below mentioned password to unlock it.

Hello,If you add an extension card then the onboard card would automatically stops working and the computer will give priority to the card. However, you have to make sure that the CARD is compatible with your motherboard. There are times when extension cards have conflicts with other hardware parts. What's the build of your computer? Sounds like a short in the inverter. Remove the bezel around the screen the long thing on the bottom is the inverter if there is a foil heat shelid close by cut some of it away from the inverter

There are two possible causes for this issue:1) Your dell 9400 charger is malfunction2) Your laptop dc power jack is loose or deadPossible troubleshooting step:1) Borrow a compatible dell charger to plug in your laptop, if it works without any issue, it means your dell inspiron 9400 adapter need to be replaced.2) If the compatible dell 9400 charger won't work normally, the problem may lie in your dc power jack.Hope this will help.

try starting it in safe mode....you do that by pressing the F5 key before windows starts up.. like right after you turn it on...once your in safe mode do a real good virus scan..i have seen that happen and it was a virus

First, check that the audio is not muted, either via any hardware switch/button, or via software.If not, I'd download and reinstall the sound card drivers for your notebook here:http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/NeedProductSelectionyou will need to select your model, or put in your service tag (on the bottom of your notebook) and then look for the driver under audio in the list.from memory the first audio file should be the one you are after.click on download, on the right hand side.once downloaded, run and install software, then restart the computer. You can remove or change the Window's User oradministrator's password. Swap out the ram one at a time, causes many symptoms, next remove the hard drive and reseat back in place, may start up normally. If none of these work the most likely cause is the hardware or windows with corrupted files. Since you have sensitive files you may need to visit a computer store to have them extract your files.
