Hi, A potential solution is described over at the HP Forum. Please click on this link to get there.
Press and hold the “left arrow” key.
Press the “Setup” key and release both keys.
Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
Press and release the “OK” button

1. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”.
2. Press and release the “OK” button.
3. Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”,
4. Press and release the “OK” button.
5. Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear”.
6. Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.
7. Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
8. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
9. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer
10. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK.
11. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.
12. To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use.

NOTE: If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

Error Oxc 18a00001

you may need another print head with that error code message. I would contact HP Total Care (1800-474-6836) and check to see if your printer or print head is in warranty, and it could be replaced.

How to get rid of error message OXc 18a0206

Try resetting the printer. First, with the printer powered on, unplug the USB cable. Then lift the scanner unit of the printer by lifting from the front center of the printer until the door locks into the up position. Remove the ink cartridges by squeezing the tabs below each cartridge and lifting up the cover. Then pull out the cartridges. Wait until you see the "Insert ink cartridge" message or a few minutes pass without the message. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer; I like to also unplug the power cord from the outlet as well. Wait 60 seconds (do not wait more than 15 minutes before returning the ink cartridges to the printer). Then plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then the back of the printer. If the printer doesn't automatically power up, press the power button. Reinsert the ink cartridges in the correct slots and make sure the latches are secure. Close the ink access door by lowering the scanner unit. You may need to lift up the scanner unit a bit to let the lock slip. Print a calibration page if prompted to do so.

If the error persists, the unit needs service. It might be cheaper to get a new printer if the all-in-one is out of warranty.

I hope this helps.

(Unfortunately, the Photosmart 3210 doesn't have a user-removable print head. The print head sometimes fails and on other models, you can try a replacement. That's a mixed opportunity - if you buy the replacement and it doesn't solve the problem, you are out the cost of the print head. It's not returnable after installation.)

Error code Oxc 18a 0007 appears and can not print

Hi,

The "Ox18" series errors can be removed by resetting the printer. Unplug the USB cable from the printer, remove the ink cartridges. When the "Insert ink cartridges" message appears unplug the power cord from the printer. Wait 1 minute (at least), then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer if it didn't come on by itself. Reinsert the ink, close the unit and print a calibration page if prompted to do so. Finally reconnect the USB cable to the printer. If this doesn't work, the unit needs service (or replacement if the service call will cost more than a new printer).

Thank you!!

Hp printer error oxc a8a0201

Hello,

The 'ink system failure' error is caused by air in the ink feed tubes. This happens if you use poorly filled refilled cartridges or you let the cartridge run all the way to empty and the printer sucks air into the system. You will need to purge the air lines to correct the error. We have a step by step guide to do this in an article posted on our services page at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/category/printer-repair/hp-printer-repair/ You should be back up and printing in about 10 minutes.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
