Check that the corded power supply is plugged into a live receptacle. Verify by using a lamp with a light bulb to see that it lights before plugging power cord into the wall.
Check that the connection at the printer is ok.
Push the power button, and if nothing happens, you might have a bad transformer either on the cord or in the printer itself, depending on the design.
One can double check by getting a spare power supply transformer or cord and trying it.
Or else, a multimeter should show the voltage printed on the power supply or printer. Check that the voltage is within specifications when plugged into the wall whether it is AC or DC voltage.
