I have the Easy Share printer dock series 3, when I print from camera on the dock only half the picture is printing, bottom half prints top half is white. Any suggestions
I have the same problem where only the bottom half of my photo prints. It worked fine for a long time. I even tried flashing the printer up to the 2.11 firmware version from 1.90 - still nothing. Changed paper and cartridge. NOTHING. Tried attaching it to both my PC & MAC and even print stand alone picture from camera and a SD memory card on the side. NOTHING.
I think the problem is with Kodak... My trouble started when I decided to move my Dock Printer from PC over to MAC. The new drivers have you flash the Firmware. To do this, you first must hold down the Print and Red EYe Button (The button directly to the right of the big print button) with the power cord unplugged and then plug it in holding the buttons in for 2 seconds afterward.
This put the printer into Edit mode and allows the firmware to upgrade the printer. Once I did that, THAT'S when my problem started. I think these crappy printers can NOT self calibrate and they must be factory set. Most likely, they need to do it at the factory themselves and are all to happy to charge you to ship it off and do it for you.
THANKS KODAK!
What a POS.
I called Kodak and they want me to send them my printer so they can look at it. From what I have seen for other people, it will cost around $85 to fix it. I flashed the firmware and it still didn't help. I only printed around 20 pictures with it. Kodak used to be the best, I guess they would rather rip their customers off than provide a quality product. Really ticks me off.
Kodak sent me an email that said I need to reflash the firmware
I will post if that helps

I am having the same problem with my printer. It will only print the bottom half of the picture. I assumed that it was the ink so I have purchased more cartridges and paper--only to have the same problem. I certainly don't want to to another $85 into it.
Same problem, printing only the bottom of the picture. I really have had problems from the start, mostly with the paper jamming every time I wanted to print something,
I think I am going to give the camera to my daughter and throw away the printer.
It's not really worth the 85 bucks to fix. I won't buy another from Kodak, thats for sure.
Hi,

I have the same problem, worked fine before it was unplugged. I have changed cartridge twice with new paper and same result. Kodak support could not help.
Same problem. I even re-flashed the firmware. Nothing.. Still prints on top 2/3rds of the photo
Only half picture is printing; tightened up the slack on the cartridge, that didn't help; changed to new cartridge that didn't work either. My printer has been used for only about 25 pictures.
I have the same problem. All of a sudden it only prints the bottom half of a picture. The top half is blank. Kodak said I needed to send it in. They could not help me.
only bottom part of my picture is printed. what do i need to do?
Musty
Printer does not print the top 1" of my picture....separates the printed and non-printed photo with a yellow colored streak.
Waiting for an answer from Kodak
My Easyshare Series 3 only prints the Left side of the page--from my computer or for a Test page. New cartridge, new paper...same problem. Kodak offers no help!
my printer dock is only printing the bottom half of the picture.
thought it was the ink but i took it back and got a new one and it is still doing the same thing..HELP PLEASE!!
I also have the same problem. After two days of removing and reloading software, firmware, and drivers I finally called Kodak tech support. The only "help" offered was to ship it back and pay a fee which have been more than I paid for it in the first place!! UGH!!
kodak WAS great but I'm having the same problems like all of you .& not about to buy from kodak ever again.
