Cannot turn off the Timer

Had never used the timer function. Grand daughter somehow enabled it. I downloaded the manaul and found out how to set/change it. I changed it from 12:30 am start time with a duration of 2 hours... to coming on at a more uninterrupting time and changed the duration to 5 minutes, would love to change the duration to 0 minutes... any help appreciated

Can you set the start/stop time to read 00:00? If so try that, it shouldn't go off at all. Another possible solution could be to turn it off and unplug it directly from the wall.... leave it for a minute or so, plug it back in and leave the timmer alone all together. If it has an internal memory, leaving it unplugged for a few minutes might reset the system. There might also be a main reset button hidden somewhere but you will have to look that up in the manual.

To deactivate the timer:
Press the TIMER button on the unit until the little clock disappears from the top of the display (the clock is very small located dead center above the numbers on the display screen). Ref. page 17 of the manual.
Hope this helps.

Freezer coil iced up how do put through manaul defrost srs536np

It is probably the timer for defrost that has gone out... some models allow for manual operation of the timer with a large, flat-blade screwdriver it is in the front-center "ceiling" of the refrigerator compartment. The hole is the access for manual turning of the timer. Turn it clockwise slowly until it clicks. Locate the drain tube & if the problem is the timer, water will start draining from the tube within a few minutes. If it is very iced up, it may take 45 minutes to defrost. Then turn the timer a half-turn or so to restart fridge. If you choose to replace the timer yourself, you'll need to manually defrost every day or two, depending on how many times & how long door is open, until new timer arrives.

Friend left RCT100 timer programmed, it comes on the time programmed, but it goes off much earlier than it is supposed to. How can I correct this?

Most digital timer problems can be solved by resetting timer.
Open following link for possible instruction manual with troubleshoot steps
http://waterheatertimer.org/UPM-timers-and-manuals.html#Garrison

Check the following:
Program disable feature is not enabled.
Check 2 different sets of batteries: 1 set AA for transmitter, and 1 set button-cell batteries on back of timer
Choose between 4 different functions: programmable, photocell, countdown, or random
Using programmable mode: make sure there are no programming conflicts

I have an old electric oven. Somehow after touching the timer settings the oven will now not work. What do I need to set the timer options to. The timer is adjusted using knobs - one for the clock and...

The timer must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven ON. With the oven turned on make adjustments to the two knobs. These are generally stop/start timers. These turn and you can also normally press them in. Be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on it will be fixed.
