You need to change the glass! It is not easily available in the market. Ensure that the electronics, particularly the LED module is not disturbed. While removing the glass, you need to keep the module 'glass-up' and unscrew the side catch, gently replace the glass and refix it.

It might be that you have dust on the inside of the glass that is causing the problem. It might be possible to replace the scanning elements. You might try some compressed air to see if you can get enough pressure below the glass to dislodge whatever is causing the problem.
If the Black lines are jaggered and are vary in size with different levels of brightness, then most likely it is scratch on the glass. If the lines are sharp and perfect and does not change when different brightness is chosen, then it could be failure of CIS module (Try this under B&W mode). To the best of my knowledge there is no concept of initialising the CIS, you may need to clean the Shading sheet.

This must be a vertical line and appearing at the same location on all drawings! Please clean the glass thoroughly. It must be dust particle sitting on the glass.

Though I've never seen this on any scanner, I can imagine it being a reading glass out of place. This could cause a weaker reflected image overlaying the direct one. Look at the top & bottom glass strips in the transport area. They should look level & unbroken.
Wipe the rollers with a damp cloth thoroughly. Remove all the dust in the glass for a claen scan. The red color roller roller in the bottom needs thorough cleaning, rotate with hand gently (in power-off mode) and clean it thorughly. No solvents pls, except Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning

If the line is disappearing with a lower contrast, then it is definitely scaratch/glue/dust on the glass. Clean with Isopropyl alcohol. Dont use solvents.

The staples cannot reach the sensors. They could have scratched the glass above the sensors. Clean the glass with IsoPropyl alcohol. Try scanning a few images to find if the scratch marks are on the same place on all images. Once confirmed that the glass is scratched, you can change the glass. You need a technical expertise to change or call service staff.
