Canon PC D340. The display says supply rec. paper tray: freesize. I have tried disconnecting the printer and reconnecting it but it has not worked. Can you tell me how to solve this problem...

Because the paper size of your software like Word is "custom", and the paper size setting of the printer is "ltr", the printer won't print until you change the paper size to "freesize". Change it in "Additional Functions" menu on the printer (Canon D340). (Word will change the paper size setting automatically if you adjust the margins of your paper too far)

Light under memory/alarm is flashing red. Window

Hi,
if the error is change paper size also, under printer properties set the paper size i.e. A4, by default its ltr and these can cause problems. After that turn off and on.
Hope that helps.
If not, send more detailed description.

Supply rec. paper tray:ltr in canon image class d-320

I have run into this a few times. Open the printer properties (open up the printers and faxes form the control panel and right click on the printer). On the printer preferences tab (or screen depending on OS) that tray the tray you are printing from is set to Plain Paper. If this is installed on another computer or server and shared from there you'll have to be sure that all computers have the same setting.

Supply rec paper tray - what does this mean when the tray is loaded?

OK, I was having a similar problem: Tray full of paper and tray adjusted properly.

Whatever I tried, the printer kept saying load paper.

I went to print menu>properties button (windows XP this is next to the printer name)>paper source tab.

It tuned out that the paper source had been changed from cassette to multi-purpose tray.

Change it back to cassette and you should be golden.

Machine won't print, copy or receive a fax

With red button stop the copy, or switch off and on.

If you print on this unit make sure that you did choose a right format of paper (A4,A5,...)

You can change the format ap printer properties or preferences

Error 002 with Canon image class MF 8180 C

I usually open the back cover, top cover, cartridge cover and pull out the paper tray. Sometimes this clears the alarm, if this does not clear the alarm, I unplug the printer for a couple minutes. Between opening and closing the covers and unpluging the printer, the alarm goes away. Ray

Printer will not print: Canon imageCLASS D320

The paper size selected in the menu system must match the paper size in the rec. (recording) paper tray. If you have 'letter' size paper in the tray and the menu system is set for 'A4' paper you will get this message. Either put A4 size paper in the tray, or change the paper size in the menu system to 'letter'.

Canon Imageclass D320 supply rec. paper malfunction

My problem was that I was trying to print from a PDF file. I found out that the file was legal size and that the setting for the printer to "choose paper source by PDF size" was checked. I unchecked it so that it would print on letter size paper. Hope this helps

Msg:supply rec paper

Ya, I had that same problem too; I was printing something that was over printing margins, and then i had the message "supply rec. paper......" on the lcd screen. I ended up fixing the problem by clearing/canceling all the documents i was printing on my computer, and clearing/canceling all the documents saved inside the MEMORY OF THE PRINTER (note the green light with the "memory, in use" which means it's probably still trying to print the document that's too big, so it wont print anything else). (<--- not sure if that was your problem, but it was mine)

Anyways, to clear the memory inside the printer, i pressed the "status monitor" button located to the left of the "B&W start" button, and then i scrolled over to "print status, select job to cancel" and canceled all jobs, and then once i canceled all jobs, the alarm disappeared, and it was fixed XD
