Belling Classic electric oven control knob is not working and the oven is constantly on. It has been stiff for a while but now it just goes around and around with the oven full on all of the time.

The knob is probably cracked, if you can pull it off, then you can try to see if you can turn the oven off with a pair of grips or pliers, if you can, then you just need to replace the knob, if not then you will have have to replace the switch.

check the bottom heat element and see if you see any burn out spots on it,if so you will have to replace it(easy)let me now-mike

seems the heating element burnt out, inspect it for small melted section, element needs replacing, about 25$ at hardware store

Yes they can be and if your savey they have universal oven switches that do the same thing only much cheaper than OEM parts.

need new element that is element code "AB20" from link below you need to remove 2 screw or nuts that holds back plate element is behind it then pull oven out remove back cover remove element wires and put every thing reverse order
