While this part can fail, it is uncommon. If the hot surface igniter does not glow you should first verify that you have voltage to the circuit. This is a live voltage check and should be performed by a qualified person. If voltage is lost at the valve terminals then you should verify the continuity of the bi-metal in the valve using a multi-meter.

We solved this by pushing both the "start cooking" and "stop cooking" buttons at the same time (these are the ones showing a pan with steam coming out of it and a pan that says stop above it). While holding these down we used the plus and minus buttons to set the time. After doing this we were able to turn the oven on.

something shorted out,, unplug it, and remove the back cover, Look for any burned spots that will look like little white marks,, usually when that happens its the element, But if it fed back to the control switch that can burn also

Pressed start and finish buttons together and at the same time pressed the + or - button

Hi, switch off the mains for the cooker, wait for about 15 seconds then press the 2 buttons on the left and hold them, and then press the - or + button to set the time.

turn power off to unit look at point were hard cable joins cooker uncover and check the bridges in the junction box are correct
