The software you need is Abbyy Sprint OCR. If it's not installed, I suggest running the printer setup again, making sure it's selected when you get to the software list. Perhaps you unchecked the box when you ran the installation the first time, or didn't know what it was and uninstalled it from your computer. You may be able to find it by hunting through the CD, but it will probably be easier to run the setup again.

Please note that the OCR software is a third party software and is available only in the installation CD.

Unfortunately you need the installation CD to install the OCR software. There is no available download in the Lexmark site, what you can do is call Lexmark tech support and ask them to send you a replacement CD.
