Why does my Proform 650 LT beep at me and not work?

A power reset is the only help given. One article suggests a factory reset for 3 or 4 beeps.

Connecting iPhone 5 to ANT+ devices

The Viiiiva Heart Rate Strap is an ANT+ to iPhone Bridge, along with the Wahoo RFLKT+ Bike Computer, personally I think I'd find the strap more useful.

HRM troubleshoot

A HRM is a training tool that helps you do cardiovascular (CV) training correctly, neither too hard, nor too easy. It’s almost like having a personal coach on your wrist! Every HRM comes in two parts: 1. An elasticated chest strap which contains a pair of sensors that detect and transmit your heart rate. 2. A wrist worn receiver that receives the signal from the chest strap and displays your heart rate. The receiver may also have additional functions and display other information depending upon the HRM model chosen. Both the chest strap and receiver are battery operated.

About visual basic coding

Hello,
The standard way of creating a database using VBA, which can be modified to suit your needs is this--> Note: the code (wspDefault.CreateDatabase("Newdb.mdb"...), can be altered to save the database in a folder  such as "C:\NEWDB\text.mdb". sub NewDatabase()     Dim wspDefault As Workspace, dbs As Database     Dim tdf As TableDef, fld1 As Field, fld2 As Field     Dim idx As Index, fldIndex As Field     Set wspDefault = DBEngine.Workspaces(0)     ' Create new, encrypted database.     Set dbs = wspDefault.CreateDatabase("Newdb.mdb", _         dbLangGeneral, dbEncrypt)     ' Create new table with two fields.     Set tdf = dbs.CreateTableDef("Contacts")     Set fld1 = tdf.CreateField("ContactID", dbLong)     fld1.Attributes = fld1.Attributes + dbAutoIncrField     Set fld2 = tdf.CreateField("ContactName", dbText, 50)     ' Append fields.     tdf.Fields.Append fld1     tdf.Fields.Append fld2     ' Create primary key index.     Set idx = tdf.CreateIndex("PrimaryKey")     Set fldIndex = idx.CreateField("ContactID", dbLong)     ' Append index fields.     idx.Fields.Append fldIndex     ' Set Primary property.     idx.Primary = True     ' Append index.     tdf.Indexes.Append idx     ' Append TableDef object.     dbs.TableDefs.Append tdf     dbs.TableDefs.Refresh     Set dbs = Nothing End Sub
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank You,Raph30

Triax CV10

Nike Triax CV10 - Successful HRM reset 7 November 2008

I had real problems too. Even after repeatedly following the known reset steps everyone else is posting up. Here’s how I got mine going, please forgive the mind bogglingly tedious detail…

First make sure you’re using new good quality batteries. I used Maxell’s, bought in 10’s from Hong Kong on ebay – no problem.

Second, and this is the ESSENTIAL bit…move right away from the computer and any other electromagnetic sources before carrying out the known reset…

Third, follow the known reset steps below, adjusted to what worked for me…

If you press all four buttons of your Nike HRM it will reset. Next time you go to "RUN" mode, it will show "HRM LINK" error. You will now need to "hard reset" the unit.

Nike made a late change to add a "hard reset" to the chest strap. To re-link (re-initialise) the watch you'll need to open the battery door on the chest strap, and use a paper clip (or the equivalent) to push the small gold button in the battery area. There should be a small sticker in the battery compartment that points to the reset button.

The re-initialisation steps for the Nike C10 and CV10 digital HRM's is:

(1) reset the watch
(2) open the battery door on the chest strap
(3) move the watch to RUN mode
(4) press the reset button in the chest strap battery area without removing the battery

Tip - I agree with the suggestion to use a pin or needle and definitely do it with the battery in the hrm.
Tip – Thumb holds battery to stop it from pinging out, other hand performs jiggle with pin until the link is made (it links straightaway if you jiggle it just right!)

(5) replace chest strap battery cover…and smile!
