UV PRINTER
No brand...direct from China. Everything seems in working condition, all inks coming out well, UV light working well, belt good to go,practiced on a piece of wood to adjust colors.
Now trying to run another product through there and it says "paper jam" what???There was never any paper in there to begin with! And this type of printer isn't for PAPER. You put products in there, and it prints on them, like jewelry boxes, and golf balls...
Help!

Try putting paper in it, maybe paper jam is being confused with no paper at all. Something else besides paper could be jamming, or something could be wrong with the thing that feeds the paper to the ink.

Epson has gone to great pains to ensure that third-party cartridges dont work. They really did a good job. Sometimes their printers wont even recognize genuine Epson cartridges. I saw a CX8400 with a brand new cartridge claim it was out of cyan ink after printing one 4 x 6 photo. Then it would recognize any cyan cartridge. It had to go back to Epson for replacement.

Hello No you must finish this process. I have tried to stop my printers when they did this sometimes and it doesn't work. In fact it can damage your printer if you do this.
If you can access the printhead, try taking a rag with a small area heavily wet with Denatured Alcohol (this is a cleaning solution that can be purchased at Walmart or most stores with cleaning supplies. Rub the printhead thoroughly with the alcohol for a minute or two, it should help loosen any dried ink. Then try to print or run a print head clean cycle on the printer.
There are people out there who go around and repair porcelain sinks and tubs, and fiberglass, You could try the home repair kit but they don't work that good, I fixed a brand new tub with epoxy paint that just happened to be the exact color. When the pros come to your house, they set up infrared and UV lights, mix up a little stuff, put it on the re and hit the lights, you can't even tell where it was chipped! But they don't come cheap. Hope this helps.
Your paper feder belt has ink on it and will not feed the paper. Remove the rubber belt and clean it good and clean and use compressed air on the printer tray area. If this does not work open the front feeder tray and set your computer to print from it. After about 500 copys it will normally have c leaned itself and be ready to feed from the main roller.
HP Business Inkjet 1100 stops everytime after the first line stars to print. The power is one, the ink drop light is lit, the "yellow" indicator light also on, and the paper light all on. None of them blinking. We replaced the yellow cartridge with a brand new HP 11 yellow cartridge. Turned the printer off and on to reset. Printer comes on everything looks good till you try to print anything, even a on line word doc? Then it happens again, so we replaced the yellow again...same thing. We ever cleaned print heads, Any assistance would be welcomed?
It's quite difficult to get a belt replacement. When I need one, I go to the flea market or Good will stores to buy a broken printer with a belt in good condition. I usually pay 5 to 10 USD for a printer that I'm going to use for spare parts. Sometimes I also get a working cartridge worth of $15 USD with the printer.
This morning I was researching to purchase a new printer to replace the 10 year one. The last cartridges I had purchased were from Printpal and made in China. They looked the same, but I had to force the door closed on them. With the solid red light on and replacing the cartridge three times with new ones from this order, it was time to find an old used cartridge from another company that I intended to refill myself. I did, installed it and the solid red light disappeared. The old Epson Stylus 440 is still ticking! However, I had written off InkGrabber for unused cartridges going dry in 2 months and now Printpal is on my $%%# list for non-uniform replacement cartridges as well as not lasting long. I am back to refilling my own. I had followed the instructions for resetting the ink level indicator, but to no avail as those instructions are for a blinking light, not a solid light.
I appreciate your website, if for nothing else, to be able to vent. Thanks so much for your follow-up inquiry and I'm sure you'll hear from me again soon about my old Epson.
In regards to the error message with the printhead missing or come loose......I had that issue just shortly after I installed my printer. I was going crazy trying to fix it taking it out and reinstalling which was a pain, removing the cartridges and then the printhead to no avail. Finally I got smart and disconnected the power cord from the printer itself, not directly from the outlet. Once I did that and turned the printer back on the error was gone. It might have been a fluke, but it worked for me, so you might want to try it.
