Pincushin effect when converging

advanced settings and click on convergence then you need to muve manualy there soud be a big cross to ajust wit your remote contro u have to muve it with the arrows up and down or right to left good luck

You will need to replace your two convergence I.C.s.They are two large IC mounted on a large aluminum heat sink.Replace both,look for any burned resistors near them,replace those if needed,and readjust your convergence. Good Luck

You need to replace your convergene ICs. Don't forget to check the bias resistors in the convergence circuit. They are all 1 watt.

sounds like bad convergence IC---not uncommon on this set-both convergence IC"s need to be replaced and the set adjusted

I think that your ICs are ok, What you need to perform is what is called dynamic convergence, This involves using the internal convergence controls to align the outer edges of the screen. I am assuming that the center of the screen is ok? it's just the edges which are misaligned, right? Now for the bad news, this task is not easy in fact the job takes a pro about 6 to 12 hours to do it right. I think you should have a qualified TV technician attempt the static convergence setup followed by the dynamic convergence setup.

You could have some opened resistors low ohms that are bad go back and ck them around convergence ics.

pin cushion is gone.
time to get a new one.
don't try to fix it. not worth the time of the money.
