Removing STK-392-110 chip
Hi, they overheated and are really stuck to the heatsink compound you will have to use a flat blade screwdriver and a hammer and tap them until they break loose, be SURE to remove the old white heatsink compound before you apply the new compound to the new stk`s, you did purchase a tube of heatsink compound for the new stk`s right? No compound = cooked stk`s in 6 months, good luck, video-tek
Just bought and installed convergence board and green is sweaped to one side in the middle
It sounds that the convergence adjustments should be re-touched.

Picture looks double
Most likely the two stk-392-110 convergence chips are bad and need replacing, several sites sell kits for this.
Jvc tv has double exposure and curve
Convergence is most likely for this model------that circuit in this set is right at front behind grill below the screen.If you can solder it is a do it yourself type repair with parts under 30 dollars (most shops get 250 average parts and labor) and I can tell you how to get that board out and what is needed.
