SOURCE: A faded line prints across the page

The imaging bar has speck of dust on it.
Turn printer OFF.
Open the printer. Pull out the transfer roller. Should have a big green handle. Do not touch the roller.
Look inside for a shiny rectangular block about 5inches x 0.5 inch.
This is the imaging bar. Using a lint free cloth with no chemical and no water, gently wipe this bar to remove any specks of dust/paper specks.
Put roller back.
Close the printer.
Turn printer ON.
Problem fixed.

I believe it is a Windows problem and not a printer problem. Try to print from a different application, to see if it is working.

Try cleaning the laser lens using the laser lens cleaning wand. However, it is likely that your black cartridge needs to be replaced based on the troubleshooting from the Minolta manual. Sorry,

Black background web pages

Step 1:
Web Pages That Do Not Display All Colors

Web pages that do not display all the appropriate colors have either a browser-related issue, monitor display problem, Windows comparability glitch or incorrect web pages Internet and HTML settings. More than likely, a setting dealing with your contrast ratio in Windows is the culprit. Once this issue is resolved, your web pages will display properly and accurately like they were designed to from the start.

Click on "Start" and navigate to the right pane and click on the "Control Panel." Click on "Ease of Access." Click on "Ease of Access Center." Click on "Set Up High Contrast" (one white and black box overlapping each other.) Check or uncheck "Turn on or off High Contrast when left ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN." Click on "Apply" and close the Ease of Access Center. Press "ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN" to turn on high contrast. Open your browser and go to a website to determine if color is restored to normal.

Hp6310 officejet all in one

Hi,
here is solution..
Solution Step one: Make sure that the product prints correctly
  1. Print a self-test page from the product control panel, from Windows, or from the product software. (See the product user guide, available online, for instructions to print a self-test page.)
  2. Check to make sure that black and all colors (if using a color product) print on the self-test page.
    • If the self-test page does not print correctly, an issue might exist with the product hardware. See the product user guide, available online, for further troubleshooting steps.
    • If the self-test page prints correctly, continue with the next step.
Step two: Determine what portion of the page is set to print Many Web pages use frames. Frames divide the screen into multiple windows. Follow these steps to determine what portion of the page is set to print.
  1. Click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop. The Internet Explorer window opens.
  2. On the File menu, click Print . The Print dialog box opens.
  3. Click the Options tab to view the print settings.
  4. Change the settings if required, and then click Print .
Step three: Change the Encoding setting in the Web browser
  1. Click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop. The Internet Explorer window opens.
  2. On the Menu bar, click View .
  3. Click Encoding to view a list of encoding options.
  4. Check the Encoding settings.
    • If Auto Select has a check mark next to it, click to clear the check box.
    • If Western European Windows does not have a check mark next to it, select it.
Try printing again. If the issue continues, proceed to the next step. Step four: Check the page setup settings for the Web browser Web pages are designed to be viewed at a certain screen resolution. If the resolution of the screen is lower than the resolution of the Web page, the whole screen might not display or might not be printed.
  1. Make sure that Internet Explorer is open.
  2. On the File menu, click Page Setup . The Page Setup dialog box opens.
  3. Review the Margins information.
  4. Make sure that the margin settings are greater than or equal to the minimum printable region margins for the product. The margins vary slightly among HP All-in-One products. As a general rule, the settings should be at least the values shown in the following table. Side Margin Top Margin Bottom Margin 6.3 mm (0.25 inch) 6.3 mm (0.25 inch) 6.3 mm (0.25 inch)
  5. Make necessary changes to the margin settings.
  6. Click OK to save the changes.
Try printing again. If the issue continues, proceed to the next step. Step five: Print using Smart Web printing software HP Smart Web Printing is fast, free, downloadable software that enhances how Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox print Web pages. Use HP Smart Web Printing for the following tasks:
  • Select text and graphics from any Web site
  • Save paper by combining portions of numerous Web pages
  • Preview and modify clips before printing
Thank you.......

I am trying to print something from a web page on the internet and it will only print from the left to the right, leaving about 2 to 3 inches of info out. How do i get it to print the entire thing?

I would guess you are using Internet Explorer when you try to print this. Internet explorer has a bad habit of not printing the whole page. Go to a search engine and search for "Firefox". That is another browser and it will print the entire page when you use it to print out webpages.

HL-2070N will not properly print

My guess is the problem is with Firefox trying to print the page and not the printer. Try to go to File > Print Preview and see if it looks normal there. If not, I have 3 suggestions:
  1. Try to change the "Page Options" or "Scale" under the Print Preview
  2. Try to install and use the Firefox Add-On "IE Tab". This gives you the choice to display the page with Internet Explorer, while still using Firefox. You can turn on IE Tab, and then try to print. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
  3. Upgrade to Firefox 3.

Won't print

We need to first check whether we are experiencing this issue while printing from all the applications in the computer or only from Internet explorer. If you are experiencing this issue only while printing from Internet explorer, then download the smart web printing from the HP website and then run it and try to print.

Please open the below webpage to download the smart web printing

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3551212&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

If you are experiencing this issue when printing from all other applications, then refresh or restart the print spooler and then try to print.
