The pump may have something lodged in the impeller and will not allow it to pump. To access the pump, the drawer must be removed and turned 90 degrees to the left. Unplug the wire harness to the pump. Loosen the clamp on the drain hose and then remove 3 screws holding the pump. I've found rubber bands wrapped around the impeller.

Why does my Fisher and Paykel DD605SS stall part way through wash cycle?

I'm not sure of this, because the manual does not have an error with a E. I can fine error F4. It says it encountered a faulty temperature sensor or element. If the heating element burned through the night you circuit breaker tripped (Sure it was not the ground fault circuit breaker?), then the dish washer can't heat the water, so the program can't continue. The program stops (waits) till the chosen temp is reached. If the water stays cold the program can't go on.
So also check the heater in the machine. I hope you are aware everything in the machine runs on high (or at least dangerous) voltages, so be careful not to work in the machine when it is still connected.

How much is service and maintenance of Fisher Paykel bottom draw that does not work

THere could be lot of reasons for the drawer not to work. Need some description of what is happening before making any suggestions. If there are no lights on the panels then the controller or controller power is faulty. Could cost upto $300 to fix this.

Need to remove upper drawer Fisher and Pykel dd605ss

Open the top draw. On each side of the draw at the bottom / front, is a clip that releases the rails that the draw slides in and out on. Press the clips in to release and slide it back (into the machine as if you were closing the draw). Do this one at a time and then lift the draw slightly and rotate the draw anti-clockwise direction (due to the plumbing) and lay the draw on its left hand side. The draw is out!

Hi i have a double dishdrawer and i cant find my manual, my bottom drawer wont empty and its showing a tap aymbol what does this mean?

The icon that looks like a faucet/tap indicates that there was a fill fault. This sometimes comes on if the water is turned off and the unit stops getting water.

There is an overflow sensor/shutoff valve assembly ("water block") attached to the water inlet hose, to shut off the supply if overflow or flooding is sensed. If the water block is tripped, it can result in the fill fault.

A short circuit somewhere in the electronics could also cause this problem.

You will need to unload any dishes in the bottom drawer, and then empty the water manually. I would use a sponge to soak up the water and wring it into the sink.

The manual for the DD605SS may be helpful- it looks pretty close to the model you have.

The parts diagram has a (small) picture of the water block, and gives some indication of its location. I don't know how it works or if you can reset it somehow, but you may be able to get a better look at it if you pull the unit out. I would take a look anyway, just to be sure there's not a leak somewhere.

Even if your warranty is up, you might also try contacting Fisher & Paykel customer care for help with this problem. http://www.fisherpaykel.com/customercare/contactus

Dryer runs no water enters condenser draw, empty water light on.

Remove the filter draw on the bottom left, and wash out under running water to flush out all fluff.
Reach inside opening and clean as much fluff anf gunge as you can from the cavity.
Get a plastic bag tie, reach and feel for a small at the rear of the compartment, and poke hole clear..
If this does not solve the prob, then it is probably a sticking or faulty float valve., or switch.
This involves a complete strip down to access these components.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

problem is probably the pump that sends water up to the container. take small panel off back and pump and water container is exposed. power the pump independently and see if it works

Dishwasher problem

F1 is a flood code meaning excessive amounts of water have collected on the bottom catch basin. If a flood condition is detected, both draws will activate the drain motors and flash F1. Remove the bottom drawer and dry the catch basin.
