NP6551 canon copier has a error code- E522. It says to turn off and on the copier again. Done this several times. Error still occurs when I try to copy something.
I got this problem fixed by removing sorter unit and it works. Because Error code E522 is an error with the sorter pushing bar/motor. If this was an emergency, then it fine to do. Just turn off power power switch and detach sorter unit with unplug power cable of sorter from main unit.
But the problems was that you won't have paper tray to for your copied papers and you have to pull each paper out by hand, fastly before it said "paper jam".
You have an issue with your staple finisher, probably need to inspect the stapler unit itself to make sure nothing is jammed in it and it moves freely. If you can't clear the error then most likely the unit is defective.
