Cd does not spin

I put in cd and push play, and most of the time it TRYS to go around, grunts and groans but cannot go around. If I open the door, spin the disk counter clockwise, and quickly close the door and push play again, I can get the disk to play (sometimes after many tries).

I took out all discs. When I tell it to play a disc the table moves back and forth slowly about an inch. After a couple trys "Table Error" shows up. Both belts are old but on.

Tray will prolly need retimed after the belts slipped off the pulleys.
Procedure is with tray brackets removed lift tray in back then push open button to let the cam gear spin around to open position. Then let tray down and try to close it with button. Reinstall brackets and may take a few attempts to get that gear in the right position!

I have a 2010 ford fusion and the driver power window will let it go down but not up. It will allow it to go partiallup and then the window will go back down. What causes this?

replace window motor it should come with the window regulator as well. it takes more power to push window up then down. wore out motors will act like this. the fact that it trys at all tells you the switch, relay and circit breaker are good

Will not spin correctly , slow spin

open the door, remove the screws that hold the door on and the two screws accross from them, pull off the front panel gut keep the door on.now remove the two L brackets that hold the top on,lift up the top.put the machine in the spin cycle and see if the wax motor is pushing the plunger all the way over to make contact with the micro switch, the lock door light will lite and then a few seconds after the plunger should hit the switch,if it doesn't push the black plastic button piece in on the switch a few times and listen for a clicking sound.if it's clicking put it back into spin and after the door lock light comes on push the black button in and hold it in to see if it spins in high spin,if it does change out the micro switch.or with a meter put the tester wires on the clips that the wires slide onto and push the button in and out and see if it opens and closes,if it checks good and it spins on high spin when you push the black button in then you have a bad wax motor,it's not pushing the plunger over all the way.if both parts are good then you have a bad inertial switch.it's on the right side of the tub,you have to pop off the right side boot seal and remove the screws that hold the right side of the front shroud in place, pull the right side of the shroud out so you can get your hand in there to remove the inertial switch and change it out. part number 22003302.it's around 40 dollars.i couldn't find the micro switch or the wax motor but you can give the parts store the model number and they will help you out.a few times it was the micro switch so i would start there.let me know how you make out

I bought a new frigidaire fridge with the freezer on top. It's made a weird grunting, gurgling, groaning sound on and off from day one. Should have called Leon's where I bought it to complain but never...

hmmm, could be in defrost cycle when that happens, when the defrost element warms up and the frost/ice drips it then makes sounds about how oftern do you hear the noise?

Stuck cd discs

I think there are a couple of faults here. The first one is maybe a faulty motor on the eject mechanism. The second one is a faulty laser unit as it is not scanning the disc. Hope this helps.

Machine not feeding paper through

try cleaning the rubber rollers with a damp cloth and make sure there clean. also check to see if the paper is making contact with paper.
if that fails check the leading edge of the paper for damage incase something maybe blocking paper.

NAD C520

The transport may have been forced out of alignment if jamming mechanically may require removal and reinsertion while in the open position if , but if it appears to not have the "grunt" to drive the drawer from slipping belts, you will need to change the load belts. Belts slipping are preventing the mechanism from operating correctly. Can be a tricky job if you dont do much of this sort of thing, but is within the range of most handyppl.
They are in Aussie, but you can get drive belts for any peice of gear from WES Components by mail order.
