Tumble dryer isn't woking

you can check pump ,if pump isn't working water stay all time .

Sorry this isnt a solution .. Im just wondering if you did manage to get this sorted as it happened to my machine this morning?

If you can hear the motor running and have also checked the belt tension and they are O.K., then the only thing I can think of is the Motor pulley, where the belt sits on.

Check that out and make sure it is not loose on the motor shaft, so that the motor turns but the pulley slips.

The problem is with the tumble drier heating element. If you remove the top of the machine (disconnect it from the electricity supply first!) you will find a big metal oblong "bar" that runs from the front to the rear of the machine. At the rear there are 4 white wires connected to the metal "bar". Make a note of where they go and remove them. You may need pliers to get a good grip of them. Once removed, the washing machine should work just fine but obviously the tumble drier will not. This is a well known fault and it may be worth contacting Zanussi as they MUST know about it!

IT IS POSSIBLE TO FIX IT YOURSELF BUT VERY COMPLICATED, CALL OUT FROM A REPAIR PERSON IM AFFRAID, COMBI WASHER/DRYERS ARE RENOWNED FOR THIS & ALSO BEARING KITS

Test heating element, thermal fuse and vent system, if none of them is faulty, then test the timer control board.

there is a thermal link between the power feed & the heating element,
that could have blown,
or the heating element might have burned out,

I have a stacking Frigidaire washer/dryer. The dryer will not start at all.
