Candy heat pump tumble dryer not collecting water and taking forever to dry!

Condenser dryers are simple in operation. They use a heater element to force hot air to heat the clothes and turn the water to steam. That steam is turned back into water by drawing cold air into the machine and over the heat exchanger unit and into the drum. The problems with them is that they are slow to dry.

Your best bet is to call for service, and the problem is likely the sensor probe or one of the thermal cut out.

My hoover tumble dryer Hnc175 wont heat up,is still working as normal, just no heat, i have cleaned out the filters and still not working

Heating elements can fail. These are relatively easy and economical to replace. The heating element is not necessarily the culprit if your tumble dryer does not get hot, however. There are thermal overload cutouts fitted to many machines. If they fail, the current will not be passed to the heating element. Replacement is again, fairly straightforward.
Tumble dryers will often have thermostats fitted. A heater control one, and an exhaust thermostat. The first keeps the temperature correct. The second, as its name suggests, monitors the temperature of the exhaust (in case the airflow in the machine is impeded) Once again, replacement is not too much of a problem.

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail(meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) thatmight need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can tripout or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehaveprograms that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcodeshowing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also bethe fault.

Washing machine not heating water

Washin machines "do not" have heating devices, make sure to check your water heater and turn it back on to get your water heated.
That will get you back in hot water business.
GOOD LUCK.

My tumble drier dont heat up. It works but its

there will be a red overheat switch on the rear on most models, simply pull the machine out and press reset, the most cpmmon cause is running when empty or a build up of lint. if the doesnt work then it will be an open circuit element.
