Error 5010 Possible solution. I did this and it worked but I do not know if the solution is related to the printer's error code.
1. Unplug printer....wait 30 seconds then plug it in. Make sure the unlock symbol is on unlocked. you can find this when you lift up the heavy top cover to see the paten. 2. Reset. Turn off. Turn on. Reset 3. If this does not work. Look inside close to where the paper comes out (from the front.) There is a little door that can be flipped up or down. Flip this door up. Hello, The error 5010 refers to a scanner issue, make sure all the connectors are seated and all flat cables running to the scanner unit are firmly seated, turn printer back on and the error should clear. I hope this helps.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for your printer. Unplug the printer from your computer and run the driver installation disc that came with your printer. After installing the drivers, plug the printer and it will install the drivers.
Pliz help me out and fix the service error 5010 which i get as soon as
