Need repair of boiler on saeco coffee vending machine

Move your computer cursor down the drop down menu and left click on Service Centre Location.

In the drop down menu for service centres, left click on Household Products. Scroll down the drop down menu which appears to find repair centres in the Melbourne area. When you left click on a service centre business name, you will see a map showing where the repair centre is located.

Note: I am answering your question from the USA.

Puddle under the machine means the boiler has broken. Whatever you do do not use the machine any more as the boiler could spray the pc board. If that happens your s.o.l. as saeco does not carry the board any longer. You can send it to a service center and have the boiler replaced. Lowest charge i've seen is $180.00 usd plus shipping and service charge. The boiler always breaks due to hard water and calcium buildup threw the machine and not descaling it. Also happens when machine is left on 24/7. If you have the boiler replaced, use only bottle water and turn off the machine when not in use. Also the machine MUST be descaled bi monthly.

If it will make coffee then you have a horse shoe boiler blockage or a steam valve blockage.
Try descaling first. If this does not work you will have to disassemble machine and trace the water lines back from the steam wand to the high pressure pump to detrmine where the blockage is. This can be trickey and is best left to someone with experience with this type of fix.

Heating element on boiler is defective. Depending on which model magic you have there might be a seperate boiler for the steamer. No power to heat plate would suggest heating element on heat plate has gone bad or worse case there's a malfunction on the pc board of some sort as everything is fed to it. If it is the board, unless it is the magic redesign (rectangle board vs triangle board), it cannot be replaced as saeco does not carry that part any longer.

Hello, I had the same problem, therefore the machine has gone to a repair centre. The problem is caused by a mechanical switch in the machine, that doesn't work properly. To repair it you've to open the machine completely, but that’s not easy. Because there is nothing broken you’ll should have warranty because it is a production failure. The solution in my case was to heat up the switch and push it a little together so that the contact works properly. It is the switch that you hear when you turn on the machine.

What Mirran is trying to tell you that the fuse needs to be reset.
if you find the round boiler push the fuse to reset it, its light brown

check the current over your boiler. If current is ok than your water boiler is broken and you can buy a new boiler group

Do you get coffee? If it is just no water/steam, could be a blockge in the steam wand, or blockage in water lines. First test easy one - the steam wand. If the steam wand is o.k- then check for blockages in water lines/components ( pump, boiler, steam boiler).
