F28 means your washer is locked and not unlocking. To unlock your washer take off the bottom access panel by removing the 3 bottom screws. Reach up near the latching assembly & attached to the door latch is a little plastic pull lever. Pull down on this lever and open the door. Unplug your washer for 60 seconds and plug your washer back in. If the error re-occurs you need to replace your door lock.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet-Error code F 02/wont spin and drain

Yes...the "F02" error code is a "Long Drain" error. The washer will not spin if it cannot drain the tub, first. The following link explains how to diagnose and correct the problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

In most cases this is nothing more than a clogged drain pump. Folow the steps outlined in teh link provided on how to check and clear the drain pump and drain lines. Now...it does not take much to damage these pumps. If anything has been left in the pump for a significant period of time it can cause irrepairable damage to the pump impeller and/or motor. The result: a drain pump that MAY run, but won't actually pump anything.

If this is the case, you will need to replace the pump. Replacements can be obtained at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your COMPLETE model number and look under the "Pump and Motor Parts" heading for item number 10. This next link will provide you with the steps necessary to replace the pump (if required):

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Oasis Wash Machine Error Code F54

The F54 fault code indicates that the control board senses high motor current.
This can be caused by excessive friction in the spin basket.
With the washer off, open the lid and see if the basket spins freely.
If not, you may need to remove the basket and check for an item stuck between the spin basket and the outer washer tub.
The second and third images show procedures for removing the basket on the Oasis washer depending on whether you have an impeller or agitator in your model.
If the basket spins okay, then you can follow the technical troubleshooting described in the first image.
This may help you determine the cause of your washer problem.

SOURCE: our affinity washer ATF7000EGO doesn't

There is an auxiliary switch in the door lock and switch assembly that is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to the spin cycle. This is a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during the spin cycle and the machine will not spin unless the switch is activated. The machine works except advancing to the spin cycle and this signifies that the auxiliary switch cannot be activated and the door lock and switch assembly is faulty. Replace the door lock and switch assembly (part #131763202) to address the issue.

Check the machine for error code E47, the control board detects the door PTC circuit (door lock and switch assembly) is open in spin, by waking the machine by pressing any button. Wait for 5 seconds then press and hold the Start and Pause/Cancel buttons simultaneously and as long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Proceed with replacing the door lock and switch assembly if error code E47 is confirmed.

Disconnect power to the machine. Open the washer door then look for the retaining hoop securing the door seal around the lip of the door opening. Stretch the retainer spring of the door seal retaining hoop then remove it.

Carefully peel off part of the door seal from the lip of the door opening near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove enough of the door seal to gain access to the door lock and switch assembly.

Remove the screws securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel. Once the screws are removed, lift the door lock and switch assembly then pull it away from the front panel.

Take the door lock and switch assembly out of the machine. Disconnect the electrical connections then connect it to the new door lock and switch assembly.

Put the new door lock and switch assembly into position in the front panel and secure it with the securing screws. Properly put the eased part of the door seal back over the lip of the door opening then secure it with the retaining hoop to complete the repair.

Error code 0E on LG WM1290 FHB ?

The error code 0E stands for obstruction error, meaning that the drain line is obstructed. This is why the spin fails as all the water is not being drained. Check the drain hose for kinks and clean the drain filter. If they are not the problem, there could still be an obstruction in the drain hose in or about the drain pump.

Code error for my front loadef panasonic washing machine reads U 11

U codes are User "Error" Codes.

CODE U11
The washing machine cannot drain.
Check that filter is not blocked or obstructed.
Check drain hose is clear of any blockage or obstruction.
Check wiring to drain pump (Done only by a Service Technician.)
Check drain pump is not defective (Done only by a Service Technician.)
Check level sensor or switch (Done only by a Service Technician.)
Check wiring to level sensor (Done only by a Service Technician.)

Many Panasonic washing machines seem to have a problem spinning with heavy loads; they become unbalanced and give a U13 "load out of balance" code. Most other brand machines can spin the same "heavy" load with no problem.

What does trouble code f28 mean

f-28 was flashing on my washer for the longest time, first i had read that my heating element had gone out which was false, my washer still produced the steam and heat prior to error code f-28 then shutting down. The 2nd thing i read was F-28 meant the locking switch on the door was going bad which again was false, my washer would lock and unlock allowing me to feed more clothes. So i took it upon myself to remove the lower cover clean and was my RINSE filter which at that time I discovered the DRAIN tube was pushed against my wall not allowing enough water to flow out on my washers RINSE & SPIN cycle.

If you have this problem I would recommend following your service guide to trouble shoot the RINSE FILTER & DRAIN PIPE. The washer motor spins so fast that the washer itself need to drain the water out 10X's faster then a regular standard washer!

Hope this helps cause it did for me and saved my wife and I alot of money in repairs!
