Verify and clean the paper feed rollers and the paper fee drive mechanism.

I have had this issue before. I hope this helps you. Try these steps:
1) Open the the top cover; then close it..read the message on the screen. If it doesn't resolve..
2) Remove paper and insert a fresh stack of paper. Making sure that edges are smooth..no creases or wrinkles.
3) Open paper feed area. If you have pipe cleaners available, clean each opening. You can use the fine hose attachment from a vacuum to do the same thing, if needed. Proceed to close the paper feed compartment..read the message on the screen. If it doesn't resolve..
3) Turn off the printer for a few minutes; then power it back on. Printers 'read or sense' the paper as the printing job occurs. Even the smallest shred of paper can cause the printer to identify it as a paper jam

You can load up to 30 sheets of plain paper in the Artisan 800 ADF. If the ADF doesn't feed the paper, check the following.

1. Make sure that you are loading plain paper only without a holes. 3-hole punched paper is not supported by this printer.

2. Load paper not exceed 30 sheets.

3. Open the ADF and check for any jammed paper or foreign object that is blocking the paper feeding path.

4. Check if the BIG GREEN ADF indicator is lit when you load paper in the ADF.

If the issue persists, your printer will require service. You can contact the Epson for warranty if your printer still under warranty. If your warranty expires, look for an a service center that can repair your printer.

First off, the simplest solution is to try to clean the rollers of dust. If you can access the rollers, especially while they are spinning, this would be best. Get a damp cloth either with water or rubbing alcohol and wipe the rubber down, and retest your machine. Most of the time this is cause by the paper pickup rollers, which are made out of plastic or rubber, getting too dirty/slick to properly pick up the paper. Remove all the paper and the paper tray if you can. Using a long qtip, clean the rollers with alcohol. If that doesn't work, or can't be done with your printer, take all the paper out but one sheet. Spritz some alcohol on the bottom of that sheet and smear it out so it covers the entire width of the paper up about 2 inches. Then try to print a document that is a blank page. After either of these methods wait at least 4-5 minutes for all the alcohol to dry before trying to print again.

check on the panel of the printer if the selected paper tray is the lower tray or the upper tray put paper on both tray mark the paper so you can see which tray is being feed,

Restart the printer so the paper that is jammed will be feed out from the printer if this doesn't work. Remove the paper that is jammed inside your printer by pulling the paper manually and restart again the printer.

THERE IS TWO REASONS. PICKUP SENSOR PROBLEM OR IN THE FIXING UNIT HEATER SECTION PROBLEM. SOMETIMES HEATING ELEMENT BURNED. CHECK THE BOTH ITEMS .

First, check the the paper guide in the feed tray is up against the edge of the paper. If it is not snug then the paper will skew.
If it is OK then check with a torch both sides of the paper path - where it goes in and where it comes out.
I've found bits in the path before now that are not seen at first.
This printer may have a removeable panel at the back where you can check a bit more easily.

Needs paper feed tire - must be replaced by a tech.
