Most files that are downloaded from torrent sites are in a .iso format. You need to use software that can burn CD images to a CD. Most common CD burning suites come with the ability to burn image files to disk.

or just open it with winrar and extract to your desktop and do both cd 1 and cd 2 and then run them from from your desktop lol !

If you are talking about the windows automatic updates.....and the operating system is the original stuff (genuine ) all you have to do is to get into the control panel and under the automatic updates...select to download and install auto ..and you will not have to worry about ..
The only thing is that for some of the programs or for example to get top sp3...it will run a software called wga (windows genuine advantage ) ..and if it is pirated it will not proceed with the updates ..and probably block some of the features..and place a banner on the right side...
This can be removed by searching for a file named WgaLogon.dll (just make a search from start ) ..and rename it by changing a letter ..
The banner will go off on reboot...and the wallpaper need to be set again ..
If you are talking about upgrading ...from XP to Vista or higher...this can be made by downloading a Iso ..image file of the operating system ..and run it with a virtual disk drive ..directly from your computer ...(for example Daemon tools )..and this will install the operation system ..and keep the old files from the other OS ..(they can be deleted after install ) ..
Or ..after downloading the image file ...use a ISO burner..to make a boot-able disk with the OS you want ..and boot from the disk using F8 to select the order..and install a clean upgrade..
If you were talking about the microsoft office ...this you have to buy a license ..and to make update ..you already have to have it licensed in the computer ..
or ...if you just want a complete Office ..2007 ..I can link you to an image file ...that can be burned and installed..or ..same opened with daemon tools and installed..

If this is from a torrent site, then you most likely will have to use a cd emulation software to mount the .iso image. A good one is "Virtual CloneDrive" http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html
