Okay i will start by saying i dont think there is anything wrong with my new speakers. however it seams that no matter what i do i cannot get them all the work or at least all at the same time E.G. wile im listening to music.. now i know the first answer would have been go look in the manual butmy speakers didnt come with one. heres a list of what im doing to set them up at the mo. i would really like it if you could amend the step bu step and let me know where im going wrong.
click realtek hd audio manager
luach sound manager
set speaker cofiguration to 5.1 speaker.
i would have thought that would work but it didnt so i also tryed the following.
go into windows media player
click tools then options
go to devices
double click speakers
advance
then i click on the speaker once and go into configure
then from there i click the 5.1 option and nothing changes.
would really be thankfull for the help...

Have you tried looking in the audio section of the control panel and made sure that the balance isn't all the way to the right? There's my easy fix... Hard fix? Check soldering...and have hours of fun doing it ;)

These are computer speakers, they will not work for a dvd player... Your dvd player has an rca/collex (SP) cable while your speakers have a 2.5 headphone style jack

Dear All,
I have found solution in a web.
Right clic on a voip icon. Then choose Properties.
Next go to Compatibility and select to run the exe file in XP (service pack 2) compatible mode.
I hope this will help you too.

Try this:
Go to Control Panel >> Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on Advanced button under Speaker Settings and for Speaker Setup select 5.1 surround sound speakers from the options. Click Apply >> Ok and then check.
