Place your document in the scanner and choose a low resolution. Although scanners allow you to choose a high resolution, that feature is better suited for transferring photographs into your computer for editing. For documents, a resolution of 100 dpi (dots per inch) is a good choice.
Open your computer's Control Panel and select the "Scanners and Cameras" icon to open the scanner wizard. Follow the instructions to choose a location to save your scanned document. Create a new folder on your desktop, making it easy to locate the file later. Scan as many documents as needed to this folder.
Use your email account and create a new message, inserting your intended recipient's email address in the "Send to" field. You must type in the email address exactly.
Look at the top of your email window to find the "Insert" menu. When you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear, select the "Attach a File" option and choose the location of your document.
Highlight the desired document in the folder and double-click on it to attach it to your email message. Check to be sure the document attaches by looking for the file name in the "Attach" box above your text.
Repeat Steps 1 to 5 if you need to attach more documents. Send your email as usual.

lift the lid on your scanner lay the photo face down then select scan document/photo it will ask what format you want to scan it then it will ask where you want to save it browse select the file/folder where you want to save it (my pictures) most common

open up your new email type in the adress then you should see attachment depending on which email you are using select attachment then you will open up a browse window navigate to your document/attachment select it you might have to wait a few seconds for it to load as an attachment then click send

you will have to contact them and ask them to save the file as a image file instead, the only way , that i know how to open that filetype is by using NEC's scanner software, which created it

Because they are digitized you can use computer software to edit them, and make interesting images on top of the first.
Here is something else you could do with a scanner and software. Using the edit feature you can enlarge your projects on the computer screen and then print out only that part. This allows you to make a full-sized pattern of anything you wish, turn around and use it to trace the object on plywood. Once you are done, cut out life-sized reindeer, cows, antique cars, you name it.
Faxing Documents - You can Fax a document that is already in your computer, but if that document is on a sheet of paper, you have a problem. A scanner can scan it in, then you can send it out by using the fax driver. If your using windows operating system you can open up the control panel, switch to classic view and then click on scanner and cameras. You should see your scanner there. Just double click it and follow the directions on how to scan your document.

Most word processing programs (microsoft office, open office, corel) have Import funtions. Have her open a word processing program and under "Insert" select "Picture". The next option should be from file or scan (twain). Select 'Scan". She may be directed to select the "Twain" device where she'll select her Epson All in One. Upon selecting her scanner, it should scan her document right into the word processing program. Have her save it as a picture or publish as a .pdf file. Once saved, she can email the file. place the document into the scanner, make sure the scanner is installed, to scan go to my computer open the scanner and follow the instruction, then save it any where u like in your computer, open your email, go to compose, click on attachment, then click on brows the look for where u save the document through that brows the click on open, then finally click on the attach option, it might take time to opload to your email depending on the size of the document,please make sure the quality is at lowest quality while scanning. dont forget to vote me. thanks

Go into your email, compose new message, and than look for an ( add attachment button befor you sent the email.) Locate the document you wish to send in email in the box that appears, and attach. than send.
