Have heating pad model 818-7. blinking red light
I had this problem with a heating pad too. I tried turning it off, unplugging it, then plug it back in and see if the light is still blinking. If it's not, set it to the temp you want. My heating pad was very temperamental that way, it didn't want to be set before it was plugged in. I hope this works for you.
MY DAUGHTER GAVE ME THE SUNBEAM LARGE HEATING PAD
I just took mine apart and there is nothing inside that can be fixed (like a fuse.) Sometimes I could get it to work by unplugging it for a minute then plug back in and it would work for a while, but now nothing... It is junk. Walmart has pads for around $15. Also, I found some vibrating heat pads online for around $24.
Good luck!
Malfunction heating pad
Same F2, quick off problem here. Then I noticed that the gray plug on the power cord was not completely flush with the connector on the pad. I shoved them together until there is no gap. The unit's worked perfectly since then.
