Unfortunately probably 50% of the aftermarket outdoor fan motors that I have installed squeal. Give it a couple days, noise should subside.

hello. i can help you.

Check to see if there is power getting to the air conditioner. If it is a 110-volt unit, plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet the air conditioner is plugged into. If there's no power, check the fuses or circuit breakers. If there's still no power, you will need to contact a qualified electrician to restore power to the outlet.

If there is power to the appliance but it is still completely dead there may be a problem in one or more of the following areas:

  • Wiring (Inspect for any broken or burnt wiring)

  • Thermostat

  • Compressor

  • Overload and/or relay

  • Selector switch

  • Control board

Work on these areas of an appliance may require help from an appliance repair person or other qualified technician.

Un plug a/c from wall and remove the screws from the electrical compartment of the unit and locate the thermostat, remove the 2 wires of the thermostat and use ohms meter to check the part for continuity, if you dont have continuity with t-stat turned down below room temp., replace thermostat.Good luck.

never cover an electric blanket with anything. use it as a blanket above you only. read the instructions please for your safety

Generally means u have a bad connection at the wall or at the control module. Disconnect everywhere u can and reconnect

Sunbeam Heating... | Answered on Sep 09, 2019

Try unplugging the power cord from the wall socket and check that the connection to the blanket is good and not loose. Then plug back into the wall socket and switch on. If error still occurs then there may be a problem with the blanket.
