Electrolux EW1000i Front Load Washer Questions & Answers
My front load washing machine is working but the water don't seem to enter.
First of all check filters in hoses & water valves, if ok then water inlet valve may be burnt out. Unplug power cord, remove top panel panel, check where 2 wires go to each water valve & check that area on valves for burning. If burnt or smells of burning, replace valve. IN SOME INSTANCES A COMPONENT BURN OUT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO CONTROL BOARD.

Hi Ihave an electrolux EWD 1477 washer/ dryer. It keeps showing up an error E90 and starts beeping and stops working? Any ideas how to fix it
? Thanks kindly
E90 is family error code visible to the customers. It is necessary to read the error in the service mode so please proceed with the following procedure for rapid reading of alarm codes:
Press and hold down START/PAUSE and the option button nearest to the START/PAUSE button for at least two seconds!
After that the display will show one of the following errors that are more precise:
E91, E92 - Communication incongruence between main board and display board (versions not compatible). Posible causes: wirings, main board or control/disply board.
E93 - Incorrect configuration of appliance. Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty.
E94 - Incorrect configuration of washing cycle.
Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty.
E95 - Communication error between microprocessor and
EEPROM. Posible causes: Electronic board faulty.
E97 - Incongruence between programme selector and
cycle configuration. Posible causes: Faulty electronic board (Wrong configuration data).
Considering that this is a complicated fault, my advice is to contact an authorized service center. They have special equipment such as an interface that allows them to upgrade software in your appliance. If you are not doing anything on the appliance before the failure, the only thing you can check is the contacts between wiring and electronics.

Is there a reset switch on Electrolux washer
Hey friend, thank you for the post!
I understand you are looking for a reset button on your Electrolux washer. The best way to reset your appliance would be to disconnect power from it for ten minutes, you can do that by unplugging the appliance or flipping the household circuit breaker. I hope that information is helpful. -Matt

E31 error code on electrolux washing machine
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand that you are receiving an E31 error code on your Electrolux washer, model# EW1000i. In researching the model number you provided, I show that this was manufactured in the UK. For North American washers, I would suggest resetting you appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. You can try this, and if it does not work, I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly, for further assistance. They should be able to tell you what the E31 means, as well as assist in clearing it. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

How to get the clothes to spin dry in Color wash mode?
Program the machine for white wash and turn down temperature and duration manually, and tune up the sentrifuge program to maximum RPM.
It helps to use a machine with large drum and minimum 1600 RPM. Large diameter of the drum is more efficient than a small diameter drum at the same RPM.
Error message e21
Machine tries to drain for 10 min (timeout) without emptying the tub.
Possible fault:
- drain pump
- drain filter
- drain hose
- wiring between drain pump and electronic
- electronic

LOC showing on screen
Hello Annie, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
I see you are still receiving error code "LOC" even after replacing the door lock assembly. Let's try unplugging your washer once again to determine if it is a false error code. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your washer on. Before selecting a cycle, press OPTIONS and SELECT at the same time for 20 seconds until "LOC" is no longer displayed. If the error code does not clear, then your washer more than likely may be experiencing an issue with the control board or wiring harness. I hope this information helps to some degree.

E41 error
Hello Greg_Meredit, this is JK. I see that you are getting an E41 error message on your washer. The E41 error is where the main control board thinks that the door switch is open. You would need to check the door to make sure that it is closing securely. If the door is closing but the problem still occurs there could be a problem with the door switch assembly or the main control board. Hope this helps!

Set timer
Good Afternoon Faye, this is Z! Thank you for your post!
I see you are interested in how to set timer and delay start on your Electrolux washer. However, may I please have the model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the upper front, as you open the door. With this information I provide you the correct instructions on how to do so. Thank you!

Soap dispenser will not stay closed\
Good Morning D, thank you for your post!
I understand the soap dispenser is not closing properly. There is a simple troubleshooting test you can do to see if you can remedy the situation.
- ·If you've double-checked the drawer and it appears to be closed, remove the drawer and examine the magnet. If the magnet is missing or defective, the magnet probably needs replacing.
- ·If the magnet is fine and in place, an experienced technician may need to examine the reed switch or main control board.
Since there are cost differences in parts and accessories, it is always a good idea to have a service tech properly diagnose your washer.

Suddenly stopped
Hi Kim, thank you for your post!
Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. Since you noticed a humming noise, it could either be a clogged drainage hose or pump that needs to be cleaned, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.
Best regards, Chris!
