Electrolux Lavamat Turbo 16830 Washer/Dryer but dryer not working

Has the little belt on the dryer turbo come off? or is the turbo seized - it should turn freely by hand. You may need to replace the turbo fan if the belt keeps coming off - the pulleys can get out of alignment, ie not running parallel to each other - they tend to be cheapo plastic construction these days. Could also be dryer elements or thermostat problems, or blockage with lint causing reduced air flow and overheating - but check belt first.

Frigidaire dryer model LEQ1442ES0 beeps then shuts

Hi Robert, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Constant beeping is often an indication of a possible malfunction. Let's try reprogramming the dryer by either flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging it. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the dryer on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, your appliance could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, a potential wiring failure, faulty door lock assembly or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local servicer to determine the exact diagnosis.

My frigidaire glet1031cso will not spin

Hello Michael Fussner - Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit

I have cross threaded the filter and it is now

Slighly tap on the filter and use a soft hammer to hit it from the top so as to release the thread. Now turn the filter softly to either side . Repeat this work and the filter will come out eventually.

Water leaking out of steam

If the water is leaking out from the steam hose, there are only a limited solution which you can use to tackle this problem.
First you have to locate the exact point from which the water is leaking out. If you have located the point, you can now go on to check if it happens to be a big hole or just a tiny hole, this will help in determining the method you would use to deal with this problem.
If the hole happens to be a big one, it is best advised that you just change the whole hose because patching large holes are not very good and they could prove to be useless at times.
Also, you can do one of the following if it is a small hole where the water is leaking from.
You can decide to patch it using some sort of adhesive or use other methods that you feel would do about the same job.
Alternatively, it is still best that you change the entire steam hose. This might require you to call a technician or an expert to come home and help you examine it properly and then fix it for you.
It shouldn't cost too much to fix it or change the whole hose.
If you want to change it by yourself, you can go over to a local store or shop online for a replacement one.
Hope this solution was helpful to you? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.

Frigidaire dryer leq1442eso How to remove

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.
To remove the blower from most frigidaire dryers ( including yours based on the model number posted ) simply follow these steps I've laid out below.
**Turn off the breaker or unplug the unit from the wall....safety first of course**

The first step is to remove the front, but I presume you've already arrived at this point so I'm going to skip to the actual blower removal specifically.

Hopefully this will be the info you need to move you forward. Let me know how you do or if you need better illustrations.

I can email you the service guide via email...obviously I'd need an email address, it's your call. The one I have for Frigidaire/Electrolux dryers is generic, but most components are identical with only the controls varying slightly.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

WHAT DOES TROBLE E60 MEAN?

The E60 is a common problem with this washing machine and it refers to a blocked inlet valve not filling in within correct time or pump blocked or not draining in correct time. check the drain pump if its blocked it needs cleaning if its worn out it needs replacement. if drain pump is functioning then its the problem of inlet valve in the washer which let the water in the washer. check that valve. if not familiar with doing this then you can get it checked by local appliance repair technician familiar with this brand and model.
You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

When I press start all I get is 3 beeps and the

Hi,

I am afraid, this seems to be an issue with Control Board. This is one of the main problems with Front Load Washers.

Check :-

No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Unless, pull out the Control Panel. Check if there is any burned resistor. and let me know.

Unless replace the Control Board.

Note - Before ordering any part, make sure that you have checked the fault with that part. Here, we can only make intelligent guess what might be the fault but you need to investigate from your end!!

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Do accept the solution, if 100% satisfied from my service!!
