No, you can print on any envelope size. As far as addresses are concerned, you need to setup a template for the envelope size in your program. What program do you have for this function, do you have Microsoft Word or come other word processor like that?

Go the "print" dialog and select "settings". Ensure that the paper size, margins and orientation are not set for 8.5x11.  You did not mention the software you are using to print the envelopes/labels so this is the only guess I can give.   I have seen software that made me have to override the settings before.

SOURCE: My HP officejet L7680 prints #10 envelopes

Please consult this HP support article for printing envelopes with your machine. Make sure you have allowed a sufficient margin from the edge of the envelope or the printer will be unable to print your setup. If you're using a MAC os, see here.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

The Paper Thickness Lever is located inside where the paper come out of printing.
Specify the settingin the printer driver.

Double printing addresses on envelopes

You need to make sure you set up for envelopes in printing preferences as this makes the fuser a little hotter. If all is set up properly you need a shop to adjust the fuser temperature. The thick envelopes require more heat to bond the toner properly.

    Printing on a #10 envelope

Go into your Word Document and print from "Tools" then "Letters and Mailings" and click on Envelopes and Labels. Sometime the perimeter isn't defined and it is on there but it's outside the scope of your envelope, especially if the return address isn't in the correct place also. You may even be able to correct it where you are by decreasing the "window" of your typing space, it's just too large.
