Attention Windows Vista Users
If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.
· Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC.
· Download the correct Vista driver for your model.
· Install the driver on your PC.

Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.

How do I get A920 All-in-One to connect?
Hi Doris,
Please make sure the Operating System you are using corresponds with the printer driver.In other words,make sure the driver you're installing is compatible with the Operating System on your PC.
Check out your Operating System's compatible drivers for downloads from this Dell support site.
Make sure you unlock the scanner bed by pushing the scanner lock down.
Check the USB cable connections and make sure its secure.
If problem persists,return the product if still on warrant.

My lexmark x1290 printer will not print firstly it said it was the spooler stopping it i fixed that however now it is saying that error 0x00000006 i stopping it from text printing i am running windows...
This looks like either you do not have correct drivers, or that the drivers didn't install or didn't install properly Double check that you have the proper drivers. If you do, try reinstalling them.

Printer is showing error 0x00000006, any solutions ?
It sounds to me that either you don't have the correct drivers or that the drivers didn't install or didn't install properly. Double check that you have the proper drivers.

If you do, try reinstalling them

If you have changed operating systems, this might also be the problem.

This printer is several years old I imagine and Lexmark supported it all through the XP days, but from what I understood they had no plans to support the device for Vista or Windows 7. If they have, then I would suggest above anything else is to uninstall the software and reinstall.

Printer error
It sounds like a driver problem.. Try re-installing all the drivers.

If that doesn't work.. Are you running windows Vista? May be a compatibility issue..
