My ps3 does not work with Electron LCD 3717EA TV how come?

I would suggest trying a different TV, and maybe see if you still have any Component or Standard Definition Composite cables to connect the PS3 to the TV and see if it works that way. I would assume you did this when you said you reset the resolution on your PS3, but turn it off, then hold in the power button until it beeps twice in a row. (Just in case) Make sure everything is plugged in twice and your TV is on the right input. If none of that works, there may be something wrong with the graphics adapters on your PS3 in which case you will need to contact Sony about fixing it.

try resetting the ps3 and then connect it again. make sure you connect it properly.

If the LCD is cracked, unfortunately no. The repair would exceed the replacement cost.

Your PS3 set itself above the max resolution your LC-C3237U. Most likely the PS3 is doing 1080P, but the highest the Sharp can do is 1080i. So do this:

1. Connect PS3 to TV (you can use the current cable or analog cable)
2. Turn on TV and set input to port PS3 is on.
3. Make sure PS3 is connected via correct cable.
4. Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for all settings.

How in hell makes the electron 3717 ea lcd that i bought from wallmart. Nobody seems to know how makes it..Looking for tv remote code. and do have a phone number for the company.

Hello, This is a problem with the switching transformer or the ballast used to fire the backlight. You will have to replace the ballast and or the switching transformer soon. We need a universal remote code for all new flat screen tvs. The old universal remote controls don't work with most flat screens.

I was having the same problem but I finally got my universal remote to locate a code 1548

try that ? worked for me

Make sure you have selected the HDMI output option in the PS3 menu, otherwise you will get no picture or sound, connect you standard cable to your tv first which came with PS3 to do this first.

I wrote this for another post but it applies here also:
This sounds like your inverter or back-light has gone out. What you can do to test this is to turn the TV on and then turn off all of the lights until the room is dark. Then shine a flashlight at an angle on the screen and see if you can see a picture. If you can the back-light and or inverter has malfunctioned. If this is the case, then I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician fix this problem, but first ask for a estimate because the inverters and back-lights are sometimes part of the screen and is it is you might as well buy a new TV.

If the inverter is a separate board, If you have a background in electronics you might be able to repair the board, however if you do not have a background in electronics, again I would suggest getting a qualified TV technician to work on your set.
