Hi i have acer 1266 projector..my problem started a week ago after a year of good working..when i start up my system everything is ok for about 5-10 min and after that the image starts bluring and changes colors..like somethings failed down..is it possible that there is dust somewhere and interrupts the normal work of my projector?or its something harware?

If you can work an the micro level of troubleshooting, have access to the the necessary instrumentation and tools, have the proper surface mount soldering station, test jigs, and also be able to have the access to the factory diagnostics software, and required replacement parts, then I would say you can troubleshoot and service this module. The factory service centers replaces this module. They don't spend the time and cost to service it at the component level. I have serviced some types of projection screen systems. They are very complex, and are normally serviced at the modular level. After replacement of some types of modules, some factory adjustments are required to match the new module, or parts. In the end you will have to send the unit out for factory service.

For sure the broken glass bring about the blurringg image as the LCD image is not being projected with clarity.
You will need to use gloves to carefully remove the broken glass, remove then without damaging of the lens and the lamp.
Reset with the correct type.
