After about 5 mins my image develops about 6 or 7 vertical bars across the entire image. These bars are made up of about 7 or so black thin lines and make it difficult to view image on screen. if I turn the unit off for a few mins and turn back on it starts up ok but the lines reappear after a few more minuts. Seems to happen each time its used now but got worse when ambient temperature got around the 28-30 C mark.
After reading the possible causes I remembered that the red of RGB was hard to plug in and so I unplugged it and replugged it in and the lines disappeared, works great now. Thanks to everyone

If you can work an the micro level of troubleshooting, have access to the the necessary instrumentation and tools, have the proper surface mount soldering station, test jigs, and also be able to have the access to the factory diagnostics software, and required replacement parts, then I would say you can troubleshoot and service this module. The factory service centers replaces this module. They don't spend the time and cost to service it at the component level. I have serviced some types of projection screen systems. They are very complex, and are normally serviced at the modular level. After replacement of some types of modules, some factory adjustments are required to match the new module, or parts. In the end you will have to send the unit out for factory service.
