If you have a plasma TV, you might be burning an image into your TV with your PS3. Its a problem with those TVs but you should just refrain from using your PS3 or any gaming console on the TV.

Find the settings menu in the TV. It sounds like you turned the green off completely. You can usually set the hues and colors and adjust for your preference or for lighting and such. Hope that helps.

Panasonic PT-61LCX65 tv has color spots

if you mean color spots size of a dime or so.
  • easiest: it is dust in some step of the projection light path.
  • hardest: the light engine could be damage
if you mean little ones as little dots (a neddle punshing) red and blue but always there:
  • condition call it: pixels always on: light engine is the reason.
as you see the light engine is the main part here, IT is expensive repair. so if you can survive with those little dots do it.
IF it is dust, is good idea asking for and estimate to see if can works.

Lamp light turns red

Yes this is the signal for a bad lamp. Other things can cause this. 1. Look at the new lamp. make sure it still looks good. not broken with little glass pieaces in it. 2. When you turn on the tv, put your ear to the lower back part of the tv near the middle. Listen for the start up of the color wheel (a low high pitch sound only at the start up of the motor). If this is good you will here a ticking sound only if the lamp dose not light.

Now with all this info. If the lamp lights (as seen from the back of the set) and goes out after a few seconds and you did not here the color wheel spin up, the color wheel is bad.

If you here the color wheel spin up and no ticking sound, the Ballast is bad.

The ballast part no. 939P978010

The color wheel is not avialable from Mits. You will have to replaced the light engine. It cost to much. Just buy a new tv.

My tv dose not turn on

I too have the same problem. We've had the ilo27 for almost 2 years and it suddenly decided to not turn on anymore. Red light-itus.
I did find a little trick if you are not so mechanical like me and don't want to risk opening the back. I know this isn't a cure, but you CAN get around this by simply pulling the plug from the wall and plugging it back in. It comes on with remote or manually every time!!!
A little inconvenient, but a way around it temporarily!
