Gwt450aw mine was washing but was not spinning and was loud like many others have posted. Seems the electronic drive motor had washer type ring inside the middle of the motor that was wavey from heat guess if happens over time. The friction was over heating the motor till it would stop working. Took that part off works fine. Once you've inside you can tell there is no need for it. Given the position of the motor. FYI the drive motor is under 10 year warranty from haier with proof of purchase for the date.

SOURCE: Washer won't spin or drain

The problem is most likely the lid switch assembly. The lid switch is a safety feature that will **t allow the washer to go into the spin cycle unless the lid is shut (so ** wandering children get caught inside).

If the switch is working, you should hear a click when the door closes and makes contact with it. If the lid switch is defective/broken, the washing machine usually won't drain or spin. If it's bad, you will need to replace it. It should be mounted inside of the cabinet, just under the door of the washer (on most models). Please let me k**w if this corrects your problem.

SOURCE: Keeps on rinsing and spinning over and over again

Aha! Mine was doing the same thing and I also noticed that there was some excess water in bottom of the tub - not the tub that the clothes go in but the one that that tub is sitting in. Does that make sense? Anyway, I cut the zip tie that holds the drainage hose, brought the hose as close to the house as possible and siphoned the excess water out of the tub. After this I tried a small test load and it worked no problem. I think the fact that there was this excess water left in the machine made the load too heavy to start the spin cycle.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a RWT350AW washer

if it is still washing then your not in real trouble in most cases the problem is to do with your water pump have hubby take the hoses of and see if any tubes are blocked if not see id=f the water pump is turning if not replace it then you should be right as water pumps often fail within months as to poor line production in some cases

Washer fills on wash won't fill on rinse. Does on old washer and new washer. Checked and plumber said not the plumbing. Help PLEASE

It seems that you are out of cycle; meaning you are washing on rinse phase and the you are not getting water on rinse because you are at the end of the cycle. Try this; set the washer to the end of the rinse cycle, let it spin and stop. then wait 1/2 hour then start a wash you will be at the beginning of a new wash cycle..

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

Washer tub does not move to spin or wash

You either have a bad solenoid, timer, loose belt, or water level sensor.

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!
