E1 is a sensor issue. You will have to get a repairman to have a look at it.

We have just purchased a Siemens WM10K20SZA. WE trying to fiure out which cycle uses the least amount of water as we have a terrible drought in the /western Cape.

set the water level for the wash load
in other words do not use full wash for a part load
next do not use deep rinse
really to save water only wash when there is a full load
save the water to the tub , not down the drain
use that for watering the garden
the second rinse water save to the tub and that is clean enough to use in the first wash next time as it is only rinse water

many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin
call a technician as there may be a problem in the program board

Wash cycle stops before pumping out. On separate spin or rinse cycles it will not work at all.

Washer machines have a pressure switch of some type and this pressure switch lets the control or timer know how much water is in tub. So if tub is full of water, look for a blockage in drain pump or in drain pump screen.

i think the door has been banged
its not a tight fit bad seal etc..
so as to form an air lock

Stops before rinse cycle... won't drain or spin.

The REGULAR CYCLE button turns the drain pump on or off. The REGULAR LED will turn
on when the pump is on. This feature can be used to drain the tub. You could get a bucket and lay the hose on the fllor. Gravity will drain it down.

FISHER PAYKEL WASHING MACHINE STUCK IN RINSE CYCLE

lift the end of the drain hose see if the tub fills and goes in the rinse cycle if it works you have a syphon problem if so make your drain pipe stand longer.

Two problems. Step one check the drain pump motor, to see if it draining the water out. Next step if the drain pump working you have a clock in the hose between the drain from the tub to the pump. Messy job witht he machine being full of water. I suggest take a small bucket and empty try to empty it out as much as you can.

2 things to look for , first check out the safety switch where the lid is , second it could be the DRAIN MOTOR PUMP , it could be clogged with lint & debri , need to take it out clean it and replace it back , its located at the bottom where the DRAIN HOSE is connected , good luck , AJ
